SMS Policy

Author Estimation LLC is fully compliant with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable US regulations governing SMS/text message communications. We only send text messages to individuals who have explicitly provided consent.

1. Consent to Receive SMS Messages

Author Estimation will only send SMS text messages to individuals who have provided prior express written consent. Consent may be provided through any of the following means:

• Submitting your mobile phone number via our website contact form and checking the opt-in box for SMS communications
• Verbally or in writing during a consultation or project onboarding process, followed by written confirmation
• Responding affirmatively to an SMS opt-in confirmation message

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or receiving any services from Author Estimation. You may choose to communicate exclusively via email.

2. Types of SMS Messages

2.1 Transactional / Service Messages

• Project status updates and milestone notifications
• Delivery confirmations for completed estimates, takeoffs, or reports
• Requests for clarification on submitted project documents
• Invoice and payment reminders
• Scope confirmation and turnaround communications

2.2 Informational Messages

• Service updates or new capability announcements
• Holiday or office closure notifications that may affect project timelines

Author Estimation does not send promotional or marketing SMS campaigns to individuals without express opt-in consent. All messages are sent for professional, project-related purposes.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on project activity. Clients with active projects may receive up to 3–5 messages per project milestone or review cycle. Informational messages are sent infrequently, typically no more than 2–4 times per month. Message frequency will not exceed what is reasonably necessary for project communication.

4. Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. Author Estimationis not responsible for charges levied by your mobile carrier for receiving SMS messages. If you are unsure about your plan's messaging rates, please contact your carrier before opting in.

5. How to Opt Out

You may opt out of SMS communications from Author Estimation at any time using any of the following methods:

• Reply STOP to any SMS message from Author Estimation— you will be unsubscribed immediately and receive one final confirmation message
• Email info@authorestimation.comwith the subject line “SMS Opt-Out” and your mobile number
• Contact us via our website at authorestimation.com

After opting out, you will not receive further SMS messages from Author Estimation unless you provide new consent. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to receive services or email communications.

6. How to Get Help

To request help or information about our SMS program, reply HELP to any SMS message from Author Estimation. You may also contact us directly at info@authorestimation.com.

7. Supported Carriers

SMS messaging is available on all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and their affiliates. Carrier support may vary for regional and smaller carriers. Author Estimation is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages resulting from carrier issues.

8. Privacy of SMS Data

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records are stored securely and used exclusively for the purposes described in this SMS Policy and our Privacy Policy. We do not share, sell, or transfer mobile numbers to third parties for marketing purposes.

9. TCPA Compliance Statement

Author Estimationis committed to full compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (47 U.S.C. § 227), the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices, and all applicable Federal Communications Commission (FCC) guidelines governing automated and manual SMS communications. We maintain records of all opt-in and opt-out requests as required.

10. Modifications to This SMS Policy

Author Estimation reserves the right to modify this SMS Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website at authorestimation.com. Continued receipt of SMS messages after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Material changes will be communicated via SMS or email notice.
